In the week just before Christmas Coyle's Bakehouse opened its doors. My old school friend Oisín got me in to hand paint 3 new signs wrapping around the premises. In the rush before silly season I never got to share the work…well, I was back there this week painting the windows in the lead up to Feb 31st- Jan 5th✨

The window’s are a mix of dandelions, snowdrops and a cross celebrating the symbolism associated with St. Brigid.

So good to see to see doing so well. And rightfully so, because everything is so damn tasty! If you haven’t been in yet….Do yourself a favour 😋

So good to finally see the Joe McArdle sign up!
It was a real pleasure to work on.

Great to get an insight from Joe himself as to who originally laid out the letters and painted it. I’m told that Paddy Martin was the first then John Kelly and now myself. Nice to join the lineage and I hope it lasts for many years to come!
This colour scheme really pops thanks to Caroline Lee from Colourtrend Paints and thanks to Martin Dundalk Town for all the hard work behind the scenes! Amazing transformation across town with the

The final 2 instalments for EPSO ✨✨
Two ladies walked passed me while painting yesterday and one of them said “That’s Class” without realising exactly what I was painting. When she took a closer look there was lots of laughs! Just goes to show how often we use these phrases...
And “The Head on yer wan”, we’ve all said it😂

Thanks to EPSO for exploring the towns unique take on the English language and shouts out to fellow signwriters and who have brought some tasty lettering to the streets of Dundalk!!! With a few more in the pipeline ✨✨✨
