Food coma incoming! Weekend stats: afternoon tea x 1, BBQ x 2, buffets x 3, breakfast x 6. The silly season has kicked off!
Gorgeous setting for private dining last night for one of our lovely clients.
Not pictured are some of the other canapes and one of the mains (which was cod loin on colcannon with lemon butter miso sauce). We cooked:
Ginger sesame prawn toasts with salted lime mayo and Vietnamese salad
Marinated butter beans, blood orange, burrata, crispy kale from , toasted hazelnuts
with cauliflower purée, rhubarb purée, duchess potatoes, baby gem lettuce in toasted sesame and duck jus, cinnamon raspberry sauce
Poached pears with miso caramel sauce, chocolate custard, almond cream and salted almonds
We also made chocolate pistachio truffles to finish with coffee but had run out of steam by then to photograph.
It’s been a funny old week, actually a really hard one as we had to say goodbye to our beloved wee westie Cookie on Sunday. She was a massive part of our lives and we will miss her terribly, but we all had many great years with her and are thankful for that. So it’s been great to have so much work to take our minds off our loss. 🙏
It was a real honour to cater the event before the unveiling of Liam Reilly’s memorial bench on Earl Street yesterday. Such a special event 🍀
Our Christmas 2025 menu! It’ll be on our website and Shopify by Saturday morning if you’d like to order. Collection all day 23rd Dec and until 1pm Christmas Eve, and some slots have been filled already, so be quick! Freezer food and canapés menu will be completed by Monday and we’ll pop them on here as well. We are so looking forward to cooking your Christmas dinners! 🎄
So hard to believe it’s Christmas again! Our favourite time of year. I’ve had an incredible amount of enquiries for Christmas and we’re sorry we are so late with our annual menu, but we’re also thrilled to say that it’ll launch by the weekend. We have all of the classics on there as well as some lovely new and exciting dishes. There’s also our freezer food menu and Christmas essentials list which will all be available on Shopify!

We catered a gorgeous lunch in a gorgeous location yesterday. Would have loved to pop more pics up of the food but we were a wee bit hectic. We catered a Cremant and Champagne tasting for on Carlingford Lough and what a day for visitors to come and witness the beauty of the area. The light was breathtaking!
We served local seafood chowder made with Muchgrange milk and cream with Guinness and treacle bread with our homemade butter, Kilkeel scallops with prawn bisque, fresh tagliatelle, chilli, capers, and to finish, our own apples caramelised with a brown butter frangipani served with homemade custard with a very large dash of apple brandy. This custard is divine and will be on Christmas menu!
We catered a gorgeous event last week for a very special joint birthday party. We’re so proud of the menu we created, using produce from our gorgeous wee County Louth and from producers .pastry John White Butchers. We feel so privileged to work with such inspiring and passionate producers…
