Sorry I have been so quiet over the past few weeks. I have been thinking about ways of running DC Study Hub under current guidelines and once I have more information I will post it here.

For the past 2 or so weeks I have been in school working as the Reopening Aide. For anyone who is unsure what that is, I am basically working with management to get the school safe for teachers and students.
What I can say is all I want is to have my students in front of me each day in a classroom.. It may not be 100% safe, how can it be when the government will only allow 6 people into a house but 30 into a classroom? However, I am trying to stay positive on this as I know how much my students need school, not only for academics but for the social side too.

I will be back in the classroom from next Wednesday with students, I will have worked all of August to prepare the school. What I will ask from students and parents is, please support teachers, school staff and each other. If you have a suggestion to help improve the safety, please give it to the school, but understand the effort that has gone into reopening. Also, remember the government have been very slow to give guidance, so not everything will be perfect.
