1972 Phoenix Park Motor Races Photo Album
Many thanks to Peter Boyd for sharing a great collection of photographs taken by Mr. Henry O'Shea, a family friend. There are other images from Mondello Park that will be shared on other pages.
The 1972 Park races were held over the Hawthorn Circuit plus St. Mary's Loop. The entrance to the paddock was by the Phoenix Monument where many of the photos appear to rhave been taken.
I've attempted to identify as many of the competitors and cars as possible. Any errors are mine and corrections/edits are appreciated.
