As part of the Rialto Community Arts Festival, join us in Dolphin's Barn Library for a haiku poetry workshop with poet and educator Maeve O’Sullivan.

Haiku is the shortest poetry form in the world, and one of the oldest, originating in Japan in the 17th Century. In this introductory workshop, you will learn tips for writing haiku and seek some midsummer inspiration of your own.
· All are welcome but places are limited so please book in advance
· 10-16-year-olds are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
· No experience of haiku, poetry or any type of creative writing is needed
· Just bring a pen and paper, and wear ‘sensible’ shoes
· The workshop will include a short haiku walk along the canal

For booking please email: [email protected]
