Upcoming Events in FamiliBase! FamiliBase Early Years Children will be raising money for Summer Program with their Toddle Waddle and then celebrating their Graduation from ECCE.
This Friday June 26th we have the first of the Summer Season Open Mic events from 7pm in FamiliBase, all welcome!
On July 4th as part of the Ballyfermot Cherry Orchard Arts Festival we will be collaborating with organisations in the community to bring you the Summer Family Fun Day in Cherry Orchard Park, 1pm - 4pm.

We had a wonderful time at our recent Garden Room Stay & Play session in the park! The children enjoyed exploring the outdoor environment, playing together, and taking part in lots of fun activities. 🌼🌿🛝

It was lovely to see families connecting, children building friendships, and everyone enjoying the benefits of outdoor play and learning.

Back in 2013, Kenneth started Cherry Orchard Running Club with a small group of friends and a simple idea – to bring people together through running. What grew from that was something truly special.
After 13 incredible years of heart, energy and belief in the Cherry Orchard community, Kenneth is now taking a very well-deserved break from his role as Community Coach.
Since joining the FamiliBase team in 2016, he has helped shape and grow a powerful community. What began as a small group of runners and a committed committee has become a strong, welcoming club — supporting people from their very first Couch to 5K all the way through to marathons, Ironman events, trails and beyond.
The good news is, he’s not going far. Kenneth will still be around, volunteering and staying connected, so don’t be surprised to see him at training sessions, on a start line, or getting involved at club events.
On behalf of everyone in FamiliBase and CORC, thank you Kenneth for everything you’ve given over the years. You’ve built more than a club — you’ve built a community. And once you’re part of it, you never really leave.
Enjoy the break, make the most of what’s ahead, and we’ll see you in 2027 — it’ll be like you were never away.

We completed our last session of Parents Plus Early Years yesterday. Parental self care and strategies to prevent and manage misbehaviors was two of the biggest topics that we covered in this group; our parents told us that they enjoyed connecting with other parents and were relieved to find that they were experiencing similar situations to others, giving them a sense of community and support!

What a blast! Thank you to everyone for making this years Unsung Youth a huge success! Well done to all of the talented young people who performed and rocked the stage!
