Volunteer based organization that is Part of Civil Defence which supports the front line emergency services and local authorities.
We are a unit of volunteers within Dublin Civil Defence. We support the front line emergency services with severe weather, flooding, major accidents, and searching for missing people. We also assist within our local communities providing medical crews, ambulance, medic bikes and water rescue for various events. Our volunteers are highly trained in a number of disciplines which include,

Another great night's training in Ratha house last night.
Teams worked at different levels of treatment and worked on handovers.

Well its that time of year again..
This week its the National rescue Challenge with Rescue Org Ireland .
This will be held in Hacketstown fire station in Carlow.
This year Dublin Civil Defence have three teams competing in the Trauma Challenge. See time table below. We will upload a meet the teams during the day. Best of luck to all, we will be watching you. 👏

Dublin Civil Defence provided cover in Aviva Stadium last night.
Volunteers as always did a very professional duty.

Thats right, its that time of year again...
Where members of Dublin Civil Defence, Team up to showcase their skills they have learned throughout the organisation and compete against some of the best Medical Teams in Ireland in the Nationals .
Winners in the Nationals then get to represent Ireland in the World Rescue Organisation against medics from all over the world.
