First trip of 2026. Hello Montreal.

It’s the Christmas break and New Year’s Eve — the universe is basically handing us a permission slip to slow down.

So I’m leaning fully into a quieter pace… with a bit of sewing time stitched in (pun absolutely intended 😄) 🧵

There’s something about making something with your hands that instantly lowers the volume in your head. No agenda. No deliverables. Just fabric, thread, and the occasional “why are you doing this to me?” moment with the machine.

Here’s to a softer end to the year — and starting the new one with a bit more calm.

This is the me on the flight home from Chicago after my final client work of the year – tired, grateful and very ready to land 2025. Q4 has been full-on (as always): travel, workshops, big conversations and brilliant teams doing important work.

My big lesson for next year?
👉 Manage your energy, especially in what is always a busy Q4.
The work is better – and so are we – when there’s still a bit of fuel left in the tank.
