We often rely on motivation at the start of our weight loss. It’s new and exciting (and probably a little daunting) but all of these emotions really help get you through.
But that motivation begins to fade. We’ve become so used to this pattern of going full steam at the start until the kids get sick, or life gets in the way or our results get a little slower. We’re yet to see the motivating changes in our bodies nor experience those non scale victories.
We’re not sure what’s going on and probably think that we’ve done something wrong. If you’re feeling like that right now, believe us when we say, nothing has gone wrong. Instead, we’ve wandered into the middle of weight loss.
This is where we’ve all quit a thousand times before because it’s “not working” or “too hard” and we’re thinking “what’s the point?”
Am I right?
The good news is, you’re in the middle. That’s also the bad news. But this breeds an opportunity.
If you can overcome this discomfort and tell your ID to pipe down by reminding it of your Dare to Dream you can learn what happens when you don’t quit on yourself.
Remember, this is one day at a time and if you just keep going, putting one foot in front of the other, you will get there!

Happy Weigh in Wednesday everyone!
It’s Week 6, which means you’ve now been walking the BodySlims weight loss path for 5 full weeks. Five weeks of showing up. Five weeks of consistency. Five weeks of change, inside and out.
The scales might show it. Your energy might feel it. Your mindset might know it. 👏🏼
Whatever your journey looks like right now, remember: this is the halfway point, not the finish line. Keep walking. Keep believing. The second half is where it all starts to click 💜
Most people come into BodySlims thinking it’s just about losing weight, but it usually becomes something a lot bigger than that. The change often starts in a place you might recognise, not feeling great in yourself. And yes, the weight comes off… but that’s not the real win.
The real shift is in the small things like showing up on the days you don’t feel like it, getting out for a walk when it’s raining, doing what you said you would do, even when it would be easier not to.
That’s where the magic is, not in being perfect, just in being consistent.
Because once you start proving to yourself that you can follow through, everything changes. You don’t just look different… you feel different.
And that’s when you realise it was never just about the weight.
