ASG inspire series - Mikko ✈️
Mikko previously flew the F/A-18 Super Hornet with the Finnish Air Force and now instructs test pilots on the L-39 at the International Test Pilot School in Canada.
With an exceptional operational background, Mikko chose ASG to complete his ATPL theory training — recognising the importance of strong theoretical foundations, flexibility, and a fully digital learning environment.
A powerful reminder that at every level of aviation, precision, knowledge, and the right training environment matter.
Behind every flight is a pilot who has made personal sacrifices most passengers never see. Early starts and long days. Jet lag and time zones. Missed weekends, birthdays, and family moments. Living life on a roster, adapting constantly, and managing unpredictability as part of the job.
Day after day, pilots meet these challenges with professionalism, focus, and an unwavering commitment to safety — often while carrying the responsibility of many lives.
On World Pilots’ Day, at ASG, we say thank you. Thank you for the dedication, resilience, and competence you bring to the flight deck every single day. Your work keeps the world moving, connected, and safe.
