The Healing Power of Nature πΏ
In a world that often feels busy, overwhelming, and disconnected, nature offers something simple yet powerful, space to breathe, reset, and reconnect.
Whether itβs a walk through the woods, the sound of waves, the warmth of sunshine, or simply sitting quietly among the trees, spending time in nature can have a profound impact on our wellbeing. Each week we are out and about soaking up the Healing Power of Nature

How We Work With People π
In Turas we believe people are more than a diagnosis, a label, or a difficult chapter in their life. Rather than asking βWhatβs wrong with you?β we ask βWhat happened to you?β
We understand that behaviours often develop as ways of coping, surviving, or adapting to life experiences. Thatβs why our work is focused on understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Our approach is built on compassion and understanding.
We work alongside people to provide spaces were they can heal, build confidence, capacity, and healthier ways forward, recognising that setbacks are not failures, but opportunities to learn, reflect, and grow.
Recovery and change are not about βfixingβ people. They are about helping people reconnect with their authentic self, understand themselves more deeply, and move towards the life they want to create.

This week marks the end of the 2025 Somatic Outdoor Program in Turas Training.
Over these past months, weβve walked through forests, sat by lakes, and breathed in the sea air together. Being in nature offers so much for people in recovery, space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and find a sense of calm and belonging that can be harder to access in everyday life.
The outdoors invites us to heal differently: the grounding of the earth beneath our feet, the rhythm of the waves, the stillness of the trees. These experiences nurture resilience, support emotional regulation, and remind us that recovery is not just about leaving something behind, but also about moving towards wholeness and connection.
Thank you to all the team for putting this togeather over the last few months.
