A results night was held in the Clarion Hotel on the 30th of June 2017. Eight projects were announced as successful.
Children of St Lorcan's School, Palmerstown, at County Hall giving their ideas for South Dublin County Council's Participatory Budgeting initiative.
During March 2017, South Dublin County Council arranged three community workshops to facilitate the generation of ideas in Lucan, Adamstown and Palmerstown. A facilitator was engaged to coordinate these meetings. Ideas could also be submitted online.

CAN’T SEE THE WOOD FOR THE TREES
Doors to Elsewhere was joined in this exploration by guest artist Mateusz Szczerek whose recent
portrayal of The Wolf in CoisCéim Dance Theatre’s production of The Wolf and Peter inspired and
excited the group when they saw the show at the Civic Theatre. They have also worked with actor
Jed Murray, film artist Dave Barnaville and designer Tadashi Kato to realise their vision of Little Red’s
enchanting forest.
This production has extended and expanded the ensemble’ performance repertoire into video,
ensemble movement and design.
Performances will take place,
Gallery 1 – RUA RED
Thursday 25 th January at 12.30pm and 7pm
Friday 26 th January at 12.30pm and 7pm

On 25th and 26th of January, Doors to Elsewhere Theatre Ensemble will take to the stage at Rua Red Gallery 1 to perform their latest production of CAN’T SEE THE WOODS FOR THE TREES.
CAN’T SEE THE WOOD FOR THE TREES was first performed in June 2017 and the theatre ensemble is delighted to bring the performance to Gallery 1 on a more ambitious scale.
