16 years running the shop with my mum!

We are in the south of France at a mill in a very picturesque town that makes deckchair, director chair and front door fabrics. We are getting ready for the summer.

The Japanese Denims are up on the website.
Japanese Denim mills champion quality over speed.

In 2016 we travelled to China to get silk especially made for the shop. China has always made the best quality silk. Their knowledge and techniques have been passed down through generations. Even when we buy Indian silk we make sure the silk yarn is Chinese.
We have been ordering from this mill ever since.

Our Christmas Eve has become a tradition of meeting the same customers every year.

There is a lovely atmosphere in town with old friends bumping into each other. Which I think Christmas is all about.

We know for a lot of our customers this week is a sewing week. So if you have forgotten any bits we’ll be open.

Saturday 27th - 12 noon to 5pm

Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st - 11am to 5pm

Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd - 10am to 3pm

Normal hours resume 5th January 10am to 6pm

Can’t believe it’s 2 weeks since me and mum were at the denim mills in Japan. We are so lucky that the mills we get to go to are always in really scenic places around the world. They make the denim to order so our order should be ready any day now. We also ordered beautiful cotton prints and gorgeous ribbons. We’ll keep you posted when they arrive.

A new chapter for us at Cloth!
We’ve moved our studio from Clare to Dublin! While our shop is still based in the Westbury Mall, we are looking forward to working behind the scenes in this new studio.
We are still settling in, but had to capture our Irish wool fabrics in our new space, just in time for the autumn chill.

Hopefully we will be able to share a bit more of the day to day from our family run fabric shop.

We will be open as normal this Good Friday for you to get your supplies for the long weekend.

But we’ll be closed Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
