The Sun is Trying to Kill Me
On September 11th 2017 Steven's world fell apart and his life changed forever. He'd been living the life of his dreams, had the career of his dreams and was the strongest and he'd ever been and then he received a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. Steven had metastatic melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer.
After several surgeries, two hospitalisations due to sepsis and a long road of healing physically, mentally and spiritually, Steven's focus is on the future.
Still in the care of his medical team Steven is sharing his story of how he got up when he was knocked down, the three letters he says to himself when he's lacking the motivation to reach for his goals, and how those three letters inspire him to create the life of his dreams.
He also speaks of how creativity and creative expression can help anyone through any difficulty, large or small and how it helped him through his life and he shares other tools and techniques with real life applications, that can be used by anyone to overcome the challenges they face.
