🐾❤️ Happy 1st Anniversary in Your Forever Home, Tiny! ❤️🐾
One year ago, Tiny left Dogs Aid and started the next chapter of his life and what an incredible year it has been.
Looking through these photos fills us with so much joy. From cosy naps and birthday celebrations to adventures, walks, holidays, and making new friends, Tiny has truly embraced every moment of his new life.
Most importantly, he is clearly adored. The love and bond between Tiny and his wonderful dad shines through in every photo, and seeing him so happy, safe, and cherished is everything we could ever hope for one of our dogs.
This is what rescue is all about. A dog who once needed a second chance is now living a life full of love, comfort, adventure, and belonging.
Happy 1st anniversary, Tiny. Thank you to your amazing dad for giving you such a wonderful life. We couldn't be happier for you both, and we look forward to seeing many more years of adventures ahead.

A huge thank you to Barry Heneghan for inviting some of the core members of Dogs Aid to Leinster House.
It was a lovely opportunity for Maggie and some of our volunteers to visit Leinster House and enjoy a memorable day representing Dogs Aid and the dogs we care for.
As a charity that relies entirely on the generosity of the public, fundraising, and the dedication of our volunteers, opportunities like this are always greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Barry, for your warm welcome, your kindness throughout the day, and for taking the time to meet with us. We were made feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
We look forward to welcoming you to the sanctuary in the future.

Our forever dog Toby has a simple request...

Don't throw away your bottles and cans bring them to Dogs Aid instead! ❤️

Every bottle and can returned through the Deposit Return Scheme helps raise funds for the dogs in our care. The best part? You don't even have to return them yourself.

Just drop them off at Dogs Aid in Meakstown and we'll do the rest! 🐶♻️

Our gorgeous girl, Miss Meg, showing off her beautiful smile this weekend 💛 Poor Meg came into us as a stray so we don’t know much about her background. At only a year old, Meg hasn’t had the best start in life. She is such a sweet, affectionate & loving girl. She just adores people and lights up as soon as our volunteers take her out.

Meg is an energetic little lady and loves her sniffy, busy walks (she has things to do!) 😅 She would benefit if someone is home a good portion of the day to help settle her in. She will thrive once given routine, regular exercise & of course, all the love in the world ❤️ At just a year old, she would benefit from some further training & socialisation.

🐶 Meg is best suited as the only dog in the home
🏠 Suitable to live with Older Children / Teens +
🐾 Will need regular exercise, routine & not left for long periods of time throughout the day.
⚠️ No cats or small furries please!

Our beautiful boy, Sparky, was surrendered to the sanctuary through no fault of his own. Sadly, his owner was no longer able to care for him. He is a gorgeous boy inside & out (we think his little underbite is just adorable!) 😅 He is a very friendly, loving & happy little man. He walks well on lead and just loves his sniffy, busy walks 🐾 Sparky was lucky enough to have a pamper day with and was one of the best behaved dogs they’ve had!

🐶 Sparky gets on well with most other dogs so can be
homed on his own or with another female (pending a
meet & greet)
❤️ Sparky loves his company. He will thrive with routine,
regular exercise & stimulation. He is still a young boy
who would benefit from someone who can further his
training & socialisation.
