Our beautiful & goofy boy, Fred, is waiting for his forever family 🫶🏻 Fred came into the sanctuary as a stray. At just 10 months old, he is still so young and excited for a future filled with new adventures 🐾 He is a very affectionate & loving boy, full of fun, very playful & excellent on lead (once he gets that initial excitement out! 😅)

Fred will make an amazing companion once given some consistent training, regular exercise/play, routine & of course a loving home to feel safe in. Poor Fred can become stressed when left alone for too long - so he will need someone at home most of the day to help settle him in. A home with some experience of sighthounds / larger breed would be beneficial. We also think that Fred would benefit from having another dog in the home 🫶🏻

🐶 Can be homed with another female of similar size (pending a meet & greet) or on his own
🏠 Will need someone home a good portion of the day
❤️ Needs time & training as a young, teenage boy
🐾 Best suited to live with Older Children / Teens + due to his size / excitability

Dress4Less 2026 is less than 6 weeks away🗓️🤗❤️…taking place on Sunday September 6th in the fabulous St Brigid's Resource Centre in Killester from 11am-4pm.

The excitement is building as is the beautiful stock 👗👖👚.We’ll be accepting donations right up to Thursday 20th of August after which time boxes will be sealed and ready to transport to Killester for the big day 🎉🐾🐾.

Here's the first of our sneak peaks showing a sample of what will be on offer on the day 👀..all of which has been donated by you 👏👏👏🥰.On behalf of everyone in Dogs Aid thank you so much for being such loyal supporters 🙏🦮.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Daniel and staff in the very delicious Table 45 tapas bar for donating a very generous voucher towards our raffle on the day🤩😊.

We couldn't do it without you all🙏🐶.

Apart from Marlow being the prettiest boy in Dogs Aid, he’s also one of the most affectionate & loving boys 💙

He enjoys his sniffy little walks & is great on lead. He also really loves to snooze…preferably in your arms like a baby! 😅

Marlow can be reactive to other dogs so would need to be homed as the only dog in the home setting. This is something that will require some time & consistent training to help overcome so an owner with some experience would be beneficial. Marlow currently uses a little muzzle on his walks to help manage this. He is still such a young boy with so much potential - he will thrive once given routine & plenty of TLC 🫶🏻

Marlow is suitable to live with Teens + / Adult home. Not suitable to live with cats or small furries!

Karl had a trip out last week to the girls in Pawtastic Glam Team in the Naul, North County Dublin . He was the perfect gentleman, enjoying his transformation. Dogs Aid are very grateful to the Pawtastic Glam team for donating their time and expertise to our dogs.

Our sweet girl, Mary, is back searching for her forever home 🫶🏻 This girl hasn’t had luck on her side the last while but we are hoping that is about to change ❤️

Mary is a little dote who enjoys her walks & is good on lead. She is full of character and will most definitely make you laugh! However, her favourite thing is sitting beside her person getting all the love and cuddles 🥰

Mary’s ideal home would be with someone who is around most of the day. She isn’t the biggest fan of other dogs so needs to be the only dog in the home setting. Older children / Teens+ in the home would be best. Not suitable to live with cats or small furries!

Very Similar girls but completely different stories ., Looking for their forever 💕

Breed - Jack Russell Terriers
Age - 5/6 woofly
Size - Small

Our new arrivals Poppy & Demi came to the shelter same day from the pound, both were found and have a different past history - there is NO attachment to each other at all. Can be homed separate.

Poppy - Brown terrier is a real people pleaser, loves attention .. Is very sweet and calm. (Microchip - 972274001796095)

Demi - Black terrier is full of energy, typical terrier very busy on the go, she is a very affectionate girl.

Both girls in their separate new home's will need, a routine with regular daily exercise, their training kept fun.
🐾Can be homed with another male, pending a meeting in the sanctuary.
🐾No cats in the home.
🐾Preferably, a little older if any children.
Both have a huge amount of love and loyalty to give, we have no doubt they will make great companions💜
