We are busy cleaning a landscape scene tapestry and, midway through, we like to show you the difference our cleaning and restoration makes. The before and after results are quite distinct. The before results (seen on the right-hand side of the rug) are dulled and not as vibrant looking as the post-clean results (seen on the left). All-in-all, it should take about 8 – 10 hours to fully clean and restore the tapestry.

This rug probably hasn't seen a clean in 150 years! We removed 3KG's of dry dirt from it....
We were commissioned to clean a 150-year-old rug, a rug which once was owned by Lord Leitrim himself. We’ve so far spent roughly four hours cleaning the Kurdish rug. A lot of the time was spent assessing the condition, testing for dye bleed and back dusting. It’s a beautiful rug and still in great condition for being 150 years old. We could see that it was not cleaned in a while by the amount of dry dirt and grit we had removed using our specialised back-dusting machine.
