Too often, accessibility gets treated as a compliance problem. Quick “fixes” at the end so we can say we’ve met the standard and move on.
That mindset shows.
Here is a short piece on why compliance-first thinking falls short, and what a more human approach to accessibility looks like in practice.
If Accessibility Is Compliance, You’ve Already Failed | Friday Website accessibility is what stands between your organisation & a world of pain, protecting both your people and your customers. Learn more!

If Google can de-index a brand like BMW, they can completely remove any business from their results 🚗 🌬️
Even the world’s biggest brands aren’t "too big to fail" when it comes to SEO.
We’ve seen it all:
❌ Ryanair disappearing from search results overnight due to technical SEO mismanagement.
❌ BMW Germany getting completely wiped from Google for a "short-term" black hat tactic.
❌ J.C. Penney losing massive revenue after a link scheme went south.
SEO isn't just about keywords; it’s about protecting your digital real estate. One wrong move in a site migration or a "shady" backlink strategy can erase years of progress.
We’ve broken down some of the most epic SEO fails in history (and how you can avoid them) in our latest blog.
Don't become a cautionary SEO tale. 👇

This photo nearly didn’t become a post.
Not because it wasn’t good. But because it needed a ‘why’.
Isha shared it.
Richie said it’d need thought.
Mary said to lean into the light.
That’s like our UX work, really.
Pause. Debate. Slight overthinking. Then intent.
The subject isn’t the notebook or the coffee.
It’s the moment when you decide if something should exist at all.

Mark Zuckerberg declares Meta will end fact-checking across all platforms and restore 'free expression'. With the help of the U.S. government. 🤔
What does this mean for Meta users?
Misinformation will become the responsibility of Facebook users themselves to wade through, fact check and flag false content (similar to X 'Community notes').
Most people simply don't engage in this practice, and so this decision will no doubt facilitate an increase in the spread of viral disinformation and hate on the platform. 👿
What does this mean for Meta advertisers?
The potential upside is that there might be less 'accidental' content removal and account shutdowns, maybe...
The potential downsides are obvious for brands that care about the type of content their Ads might appear beside. More 'free expression' means more extreme content which could leave a bad taste in Advertiser's mouths.
Naturally we'll be examining how this plays out. 🧐
