So it begins… :-) vintage tones for …the youngest mic on this kit is a venerable Neumann km84.. beautiful under- snare capture from the 70’s… the Unidyne (from the early 60’s) is on the snare top… capturing the kik in all its glorious thunder is a pristine D12 from 1967, & on overhead duties a matched pair of Neumann gefell Cmv563’s with M7 caps from the early 60’s… creamy valve’y goodness all round..mmmmm :-)

Very proud to have tracked and mixed this! Working with Emma is always a joy.. her talent and attention to detail are exemplary… and most importantly she’s fun to be around! Get a listen to this if you can! It’s great!!
