Simon’s Place was a coffee on South Great Georges St. Dublin 2 from December 1997 to December 2023.
Simon`s Place Café on South Great Georges Street is the place to go if you like Homemade sandwiches ( Chicken,Ham, Egg, Tuna, Cheese & occasionally Avocado ) Fresh soups and Salads. Washed down with Coffee/juices or our range of herbal teas ,then follow with homemade Cheesecake/ Carrot cake or sample our legendary Cinnamon Buns.

After 25+ years in Simons Place Coffee Shop in Georges street Arcade and many more years before then in Marks Bros.
Our business is embarking on a new chapter with a change in ownership. As the wonderfully amazing Simon steps into a very well-deserved retirement, we extend heartfelt gratitude for your continued support throughout every stage of this life changing journey.

25 years of Simon’s Place: ‘It is a part of people’s lives. It is a little respite in Dublin city centre.’ It’s a sunny Sunday in Dublin city centre and the streets are full of people. As I pass a meandering couple on South Great George’s Street, a familiar red sign greets me: ‘Simon’s Place’. It’s a neighbourhood hub and haven for artists —the walls are covered in posters — offering soup...
