This week, the children from CASPr enjoyed a lovely trip to Bull Island to make the most of the warm weather ☀️🌊

The children had great fun having a picnic, playing in the sand, and cooling off in the water while enjoying a wonderful afternoon outdoors 😊

Last week, some of CASPr’s children took part in a wonderful homemade camera obscura workshop 📸✨

They had great fun exploring creativity, light, and photography while designing their own camera obscuras and learning through hands-on activities.

A big thank you to for facilitating such an engaging and creative experience in collaboration with as part of the Neighbourhood Project in Dublin’s north east inner city 💛

Last Friday, CASPr hosted a very special Advocacy Event to celebrate the Listen to Us podcast 🎙️✨

The event brought together the children and young people behind the podcast alongside CASPr staff, leadership, politicians, and representatives from different organisations and institutions.

Most importantly, it created a space for meaningful conversations between children and adults — giving young people the opportunity to speak openly about the real issues affecting them, while sharing ideas, experiences, and possible solutions.

A powerful reminder of the importance of listening to children’s voices and creating spaces where they feel heard, valued, and included.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this project. Listen to Us is just the beginning, and we are excited to continue building on these important conversations together 💛

Young voices have a powerful way of naming what really matters. In Listen to Us, children share clear and honest views on how we should treat one another.

Riya reminds us that kindness starts with respect — accepting people for who they are, without judgment ✨

Yesterday, CASPr learners attended the North Inner City Learning Neighbourhood Showcase 📚

It was a really engaging event featuring inspiring speakers, a powerful learners’ panel, and a thought-provoking drama performance focused on inclusion and lived experience ✨

It was also wonderful to see so many organisations and community groups coming together to showcase the wide range of supports, services, and learning opportunities available across the North Inner City.

A great reminder of the strength of community learning and the value of creating spaces where everyone feels included and supported 💛

Children often express care in the simplest and most honest ways. In Listen to Us, their words highlight the small actions that can mean everything.

Romy reminds us that sometimes kindness begins with a simple question — noticing someone and asking if they’re okay.

Our little artists at the CASPr crèche had a wonderful time creating a colourful mural together 🎨

Through painting and creativity, the children expressed themselves while having lots of fun. We love seeing their imagination come to life in such beautiful ways 💛

There’s something powerful in the way children understand the world. In Listen to Us, their words remind us what truly matters.

Farah reminds us that kindness is about being there for others: in the hard moments, in the sad ones, and in the simple act of including everyone. ✨
