Exercise Of the Day !!
ALTERNATE HAMMER CURL
Main Muscle Worked: Biceps
Other Muscles: Forearms
1. Stand up with your torso upright and a dumbbell in each hand being held at arms length. The elbows should be close to the torso.
2. The palms of the hands should be facing your torso. This will be your starting position.
3. While holding the upper arm stationary, curl the right weight forward while contracting the biceps as you breathe out. Continue the movement until your biceps is fully contracted and the dumbbells are at shoulder level. Hold the contracted position for a second as you squeeze the biceps. Tip: Only the forearms should move.
4. Slowly begin to bring the dumbbells back to starting position as your breathe in.
5. Repeat the movement with the left hand. This equals one repetition.
6. Continue alternating in this manner for the recommended amount of repetitions.

Green Tea Benefits
Since ancient times, the Chinese drank green tea to promote general health. Now,more and more research is confirming the immense benefits of green tea.
The secret ingredient of green tea is in its rich amount of polyphenols, especially epigallocatechin gallate. EGCG, for short, is a powerful antioxidant and research has shown that it may help inhibit and kill cancer cells and can lower LDL cholesterol levels.
In addition, EGCG can prevent the abnormal formation of blood clots, something really important considering the formation of abnormal blood clots (thrombosis) is the leading cause of heart attacks and stroke.
Furthermore, some studies suggest that drinking green tea can increase metabolism and help burn more fat.
Also, research has shown that regularly drinking green tea may help prevent tooth decay by killing the bacteria, which causes dental plaque.
Lastly, green tea has a good source of caffeine (about 1/3 of that in a cup of coffee which can be good if you are caffeine-sensitive), which can stimulate the central nervous system, resulting in increased alertness and mood elevation along with the various other benefits that caffeine provides.

Contrary to popular belief, a healthy glass of OJ each morning is a big no no! There are a lot of artificial flavors and additives that are not beneficial to a diet. Fresh squeezed orange juice including the fiber from the pulp would be best. The glycemic index rating for oranges is moderate while orange juice is sky high partially due to added sugars put in juices.

DUMBBELL PULLOVER
Main Muscle Worked: Chest
Other Muscles: Lats, Shoulders, Triceps
1. Place a dumbbell standing up on a flat bench.
2. Ensuring that the dumbbell stays securely placed at the top of the bench, lie perpendicular to the bench (torso across it as in forming a cross) with only your shoulders lying on the surface. Hips should be below the bench and legs bent with feet firmly on the floor. The head will be off the bench as well.
3. Grasp the dumbbell with both hands and hold it straight over your chest at arms length. Both palms should be pressing against the underside one of the sides of the dumbbell. This will be your starting position.
4. While keeping your arms straight, lower the weight slowly in an arc behind your head while breathing in until you feel a stretch on the chest.
5. At that point, bring the dumbbell back to the starting position using the arc through which the weight was lowered and exhale as you perform this movement.
6. Hold the weight on the initial position for a second and repeat the motion.
