Christy Dignam - 3 years gone from this Crazy World today.
A man that did so much for me and helped me when I was starting out on my topsy turvy journey in the music industry.
The first time I stood on the Vicar Street stage was as a special guest of Aslan and I sang my favourite song Chains with Christy. Still one of my all time favourite music memories.
Myself and did our own version on that same stage to tip the hat to a legend after he had passed.
RIP Christy. Gone but never forgotten.

Delighted to have been immortalised a few years ago on the famous annual poster for the Ballyshannon Folk Festival Buzzing to return this year with The Rising Sons. We are headlining on Saturday August 1st. Always a cracking festival. Dive on the last of the tickets and we will see yas there

Delighted to say that this gig is back on. If you had a ticket for any of the postponed dates they can be used on June 27th at The Bonnington and as an apology for the inconvenience to people we are letting you use your tickets twice. Once on June 27th at The Bonnington and once again for any of the dates listed below.

Thank you all for your patience. Really hope this goes some way to making it up to our supporters. For those who bought tickets and cant make any of the rescheduled dates we sincerely apologise and hope you'll continue to support us in the future. Your tickets will be refunded and if you reach out to myself and the Sons we will try to make it up to you with guest list or some token of our appreciation at a later stage. The new dates are as follows. Confirmed with the venues but not on sale until next week. On sale date to be announced very soon.

Tis a rare Saturday night off with the postponement of the tour but Im itching to play a few tunes. Who is around Facebook land at 9pm for a few tunes on the tinterweb? Send on a few requests and ill see yas then
Last year in after going through 100s of audition videos we gave a lucky winner the chance to join us on stage and perform a song. That man was Ben Reid Since the show that night Ben's candle has burned brighter and brighter and its a pleasure to watch his talent and appetite for music and songwriting grow to its full potential. He is a natural. He is currently in studio working on his first single entitled "The Risen People" which should be out soon.
Lots of people had the cameras out that night to capture Ben performing The Green Fields of France and The Sons own Sean The Butsy Butler compiled them all together to make this video. Fair play Butsy its a cracker and fair play Ben. No doubt one day it'll be you calling us as a special guest. Onwards pal
