Siege of Limerick that was absolutely incredible! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We thought going on that late that people might have been worn out, boy were we wrong!!!

The set is finalised and the gear is packed we are absolutely raring to go. We cannot wait for our long awaited return to the Siege of Limerick and what a fu***ng line up we are really looking forward to seeing some of the cream of the crop in the Irish metal scene and catching up with friends we haven’t seen in a while. We cannot fu***ng wait to close out the main stage this year… riffs, pints, pits what more could ya want 🇮🇪🤘🏻🇮🇪

Our boy Willow and the lads in are going to absolutely level Glasgow tonight. Highly recommend any of our Glasgow friends get to this incredible line up. 🤘🏻🇮🇪🤘🏻

💥WINNER!!!💥 AeSect have won the Wacken Metal Battle Ireland 2025. These guys smashed it at the live final in Fibber Magees last night and they will do Ireland 🇮🇪 proud at Wacken Open Air in Germany this summer. Well done to all of the bands who took part in the final and all the bands that entered this year. And thanks to everyone who turned out to support the bands on a wet Thursday night in Dublin. 🤘

Holly s**t this has not sunk in yet! To represent Ireland playing the music we love on one of the biggest festivals in metal is an absolute dream come true for us. We will not take this opportunity for granted and we fully intend on showing wackenopenair.official what the Irish metal scene is all about.

Every band that played last night could have easily taken the slot, the level of musicianship in our community is second to none.

Neon Empire delivered from the very start with a set that set the bar for the night
Snowblind blew our minds yet again, those guys are insanely good musicians
Lock Horns brought the heavy and for a first Dublin show wasted no time in showing they meant business
Psykosis Thrash Metal the intensity and speed from the first notes… Jesus!
blackholedivers absolute energy from start to finish

Just absolute passion from every band, we are shocked, over the moon and we’ll do everything we can to represent the Irish scene to the standard that was set last night.
