I’ve made up a playlist of some songs that served as inspiration for The Light. I feel it’s important to recognise those that either paved the way or push an artist to be better. Here are just a few examples of mine.

I personally don’t use Spotify anymore as I’m very uncomfortable with their blatant exploitation of musicians and their prioritisation of ‘trends’ and ‘content’ over supporting art (and that’s even before considering their CEO’s moral bankruptcy). But I recognise most people still use it and I’m not going to tell anyone what to do. With that in mind, I’ve replicated the playlist on other services. The link is in my bio! If you can, support artists directly by buying a digital track or vinyl.

Thanks for all the kind words and support for The Light so far. It’s increasingly difficult putting out music and sometimes it feels like screaming into the void. It feels harder and harder to capture people’s attention in this short attention span age, but I have to remind myself that just making/finishing the thing is enough. More soon!
