She is one of those daxis who attach themselves to one owner and no one else will do. Its normal and natural in working breeds. Not great though when I need strangers to touch her every weekend in the ring.

When she was a small puppy he would hold her and soothe her. She remembers him every time she sees him and would walk on water to get up in his arms.

As a fellow type 1 solider, I cannot understand how he can play in that heat, the pace, the pressure and still need to take insulin. I would have thought it would be the other way round. My numbers were low watching it! Must be yet another difference between an athlete's body and mine. Unreal achievement from this young man. He was fighting two battles on the court that day. Everything I learn about him makes me love him more and more.

I was wondering how zverev would handle the pressure of today's final then remembered like a lot of elite athletes he owns a Dachshund...he has been mentally prepared!!! Good luck to both men today. Both thoroughly deserve it and I cant wait to tune in
