The story starts here; Very Rev Fr John Kinsella was the Parish Priest of Edenderry from 1882 to 1905. In his Will he left the land for the new Church (now St. Mary's), the Convent (now The Parish Centre) and the adjacent primary schools. He also bequeathed a substantial sum of money to assist the projects.
