✨ Balbriggan Town Awards 2025 – Get Your Nominations In! ✨
Last year, I was completely taken by surprise to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music in Balbriggan award. To be recognised by my own town — a place I love so deeply — gave me so much confidence. Balbriggan has shaped me into the woman I am today.

I love to sing for the Brig and to help others find their voice — but truthfully, Balbriggan has helped me find mine, time and time again. ❤️

Winning this award helped me see myself the way the town does, which isn’t always easy when I'm swept up in the creative flurry of it all. From time to time throughout the year, I’d look at that award and feel the little push to keep going — even on the hard days. I’d grin and say to myself, “award-winning community musician,” and cackle like it was a magic spell! ✨

This coming year marks 30 years since my mam and I first made Balbriggan our home — most of my life — and I truly mean it when I say: Balbriggan made me. ❤️☘️

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Balbriggan Tourism Committee, The Central Balbriggan - Mrs. O's, Sceal Collective and the people of Balbriggan for the recognition, encouragement, and community spirit that make this town so special.
