Six years ago, on 17th September 2020, Dad brought this tiny bundle home.

Neither of us could have known then just how much Alex would come to mean to me, or how much I would need him.

Six years of Sir Alex—my little shadow, my constant and my reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

The greatest gift Dad could ever have left me.

A few weeks ago I handed my CV into Fat Frenchie Co.

There were loads of applicants hardly surprising when the salary and benefits package is paid entirely in treats.

Anyway… I GOT THE JOB.

Sunday I was put straight into management at St Patrick’s Park. No probation. Naturally.

My besties Taco & Nacho are the CEOs, so did knowing senior management help? Possibly.
Was I still the best candidate? Absolutely.

I supervised. I taste-tested. I looked handsome. Productivity was through the roof.

Corporate life suits me.

Today I went to visit my Auntie Jo while my hooman had her nails done.

I’d already been on my walkies with Kelly, so I was absolutely exhausted. I climbed up on the sofa, claimed the best spot between the cushions, and had a lovely snooze while everyone else did boring human things.

I think I nailed the whole “salon supervisor” job… even if I slept through most of it!

Excuse me… it’s Sunday. You know what that means?

Hooman says it’s St Patrick’s Park day.

I say it’s FatFrenchie day.

I don’t even need directions anymore… I know exactly where the treats are. Today I picked a duck roll, found my favourite patch of grass and helped myself.

10/10. Would recommend.
