You call it transparency… but some of us have never even seen our names anywhere.
We volunteer. We show up. We sacrifice time, energy, and dignity, hoping one day it counts. But year after year, it’s the same story: silence for us, opportunities for the connected.
How do you tell people to “trust the system” when we don’t even know if we’re in it?
Were our applications received… or quietly thrown away the same day we submitted them?
At least be honest. Publish the database. Let people see where they stand.
Because what hurts the most is not rejection,
it’s being ignored while others walk in through doors we were never allowed to knock on.
Stop selling hope you never intended to give.🤷🏽🤦🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍➡️

Valentine's Day tip for couples expecting a baby 💕
Prioritize intimacy & connection - plan a cozy night in, share pregnancy updates, and dream together about your little one's arrival

13/02/2026

"Tip of the day
Staying hydrated is key during pregnancy! Drink at least 2-3 litres of water daily to support your baby's growth and your own health. Add slices of lemon, lime, or cucumber for a refreshing twist 💦

When medical personnel advise that a C-section is the safest option to protect both mother and baby, it is important to trust their guidance. A C-section can prevent maternal deaths and neonatal deaths when complications arise during labour.

Delivering through a C-section does not make a woman any less of a woman. It is a life-saving medical procedure.

Make informed and timely decisions that protect your life and the life of your unborn baby.

Being shy will cost you more than being wrong

Being shy feels harmless… until you realize silence has a price.

In school, many students stay quiet even when they know the answer.
They avoid volunteering for procedures.
They avoid asking questions on ward rounds.
They avoid joining discussions because they “don’t want to embarrass themselves.”

The ones who speak up, even when they’re not fully correct, build confidence, build competence, and get noticed.

Healthcare doesn’t reward invisible people.
Nobody knows what you can do if you don’t speak.
Nobody can correct what you don’t attempt.
But everyone can help you refine what you’re brave enough to try.
Being shy keeps you comfortable.
Being wrong teaches you something.
If you think about it, growth hides behind embarrassment.

Shyness protects your ego but destroys your progress.
At the end of the day:
Asking is better than pretending
Volunteering is better than watching
Trying and failing is better than staying invisible

Are you shy because you don’t know
or because you’re afraid?
