Where are the best accessible places to visit on holiday in Ireland? ☀️

Enable Ireland’s Local Service Owner Council in Kerry organised a marvellous outing to Di**le. It included a visit to Oceanworld Aquarium Di**le and Di**le Bay Hotel. Highlights were seeing jellyfish, sharks and penguins at the aquarium and eating lots of delicious food.

Where would you recommend visiting in Di**le? Or anywhere else in Ireland, for that matter!? 🇮🇪

An accessible way to explore Dublin’s Grand Canal! 🚤

Brian, who attends Enable Ireland services in Sandyford recently took to the water with Funafloat. On board the accessible boat ‘Wheelboat Mark III’, Brian boated along the River Liffey. Reg McCabe and his son were his guides and shared fascinating tales of the river and its role in Irish history.

Brian said: “I really enjoyed the trip which took us up the River Liffey. It was fun and different going under the bridges instead of over them. I would highly recommend this activity for anyone who is interested.”

FUNAFLOAT is a fun and free boat trip experience on Dublin waterways. Their mission is to deliver a fun and engaging outdoor experience for individuals and groups who till now, were denied an easily accessible means of getting out on the water.
