LevelUP empowers young people 10-14 years to develop their digital skills & digital citizenship.
Young people will use their skills, innovation and creativity to find a solution to a challenge they have identified in their community. #digitalinclusion GoLevelUp is Foróige’s creative digital skills and innovation programme, developed with support from Accenture. It explores animation, digital storyboarding, and design, while also introducing young people to digital literacy and digital citizenship concepts through fun and engaging activities. GoLevelUp is split into 3 modules:
GoLevelUp is designed for 10-14 year olds and serves as an introduction to creative digital skills. It covers topics from podcasting, animation, storyboarding and design, to exploring digital wellbeing, safety, and our digital footprint. Through the programme young people use their skills, innovation and creativity to collaboratively find a solution to a challenge they have identified in their life, their community and society. GoLevelUp 2.0 is designed for young people aged 14-18, building on the skills and knowledge established in GoLevelUp. Using design thinking approaches and expanding on topics in digital communication, collaboration, privacy and cyber security, young people are challenged to develop a solution to a challenge facing their community.
The Foróige Go Digital Support Session is tomorrow and every Wednesday from 11am to 12pm. Drop in and chat to the cool digital team, meet other digital youthworkers and have fun1.

Open to young people, you won’t just be playing—you’ll be building. Dive into the world of creative game design and discover how to use cutting-edge tools like 3D printers and cutters to craft custom game pieces, terrain, and accessories that take your gaming sessions to the next level.

There are only a few spaces left on this months training - Go LevelUp: Creative Digital Skills for Youthwork.
This programme has activities to suit young people aged 10 to 18 and is suitable for all levels of tech'sperience'. Young people learn a range of digital skills and are empowered to create a project that benefits their community.

The Foróige digital team are super excited about this years conference in Maynooth University. We will be there with equipment and enthusiasm for .... wait for it ...audio recording and editing, 3d design and printing, film making with/or without green screen, games design and streaming, robotics and coding, music making, model making, theatre, podcasts.... and of course .
