What a fantastic day at The Hive!

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of welcoming 27 young players from Douglas Lawn Tennis Club for a padel experience packed with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of smiles.

From the moment they stepped on court, the group showed a brilliant willingness to learn, support one another, and embrace the game. There was great teamwork, loads of encouragement, and no shortage of laughs along the way.

A huge thank you to Sarah for reaching out and helping make the day happen. It was a pleasure hosting such a wonderful group of young people.

If this is the next generation coming through, then the future of padel is looking very bright indeed. 💜🎾

🐝💜 Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Johnson & Johnson Cork to The Hive for an afternoon of padel, teamwork, and plenty of fun on court.

From first rallies to competitive points, the energy was fantastic throughout, with everyone getting stuck in and enjoying the game together.

Corporate padel is quickly becoming one of the best ways to bring teams together, combining movement, laughter, friendly competition, and a great social atmosphere.

💗🎾 50km walked. Countless memories made.

To celebrate completing their incredible 50km in May Challenge in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland, the team from Omnissa Ballincollig swapped walking shoes for padel rackets and joined us for a fun-filled 2-hour tournament at The Hive.

What a brilliant way to mark the end of an amazing challenge, while continuing to bring people together for a fantastic cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. You were an absolute pleasure to host and brought great energy, laughs, and team spirit to the courts. 🐝💜

A 2022 review by Demeco et al. described padel as a high-intensity intermittent sport with cardiovascular and neuromuscular benefits.

In normal language?
