Joseph Walsh unveils a unique installation opening in September 2026 at the Hôtel de Sully, the headquarters of the French National Monuments. Opening during Paris Design Week and running through Paris Fashion Week and Art Basel Paris, this exhibition marks a pivotal moment in Walsh’s practice, with the reveal of two monumental outdoor sculptures.

Conceived as a site-specific installation between the historic Orangerie and the grounds, the project transforms the Hôtel de Sully, one of the most beautiful hôtel particuliers in the Marais, into an immersive environment, where works are experienced in direct relationship with architecture, light and history

Celebrating 10 years of the designing and making of the Dommus Chair.

In 2018, Joseph Walsh made his debut in Asia with a solo exhibition of work at the Sogetsu Art Center in Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition marked the beginning of an ongoing collaboration and friendship with the gallery A Lighthouse called Kanata, founded by Wahei Aoyama.

A small number of the limited-edition, signed publications is available via the link in description. The Studio’s 2nd publication will be released later in 2026.
