4-Valleys function this week, people from, Coomhola, Borlin, Kealkil and Mealagh and some from farther a field enjoying a social day out together in the mealagh hall on a rainy day , but only cheer inside ! Mass beforehand for the Holy Souls.

Flooding on the road between Snave and Coomhola Bridge and between Gaelochs Cross and Coomhola Lodge.

We were told there will be no school bus going up borlin tomorrow morning due to flooding and road conditions. Bus will collect students at coomhola bridge at normal times.

A driver has reported that the road before the old Snamh Bridge is tearing and extremely dangerous. There’s also a dangerous section under John Harrington’s, but cones are in place there. The council has been contacted, but please take extra care if you’re driving in the area.
