Howdy Neighbours,
I am writing to you on behalf of Mayfield Sports Complex to ask if your business would consider supporting the Mayfield Sports Complex Teen Sports Awards 2026.
This new award initiative is being created to recognise Mayfield teenagers who have achieved success in sport during 2025–2026. Any teenager from Mayfield who has achieved success through a Mayfield-based club can be nominated, and our aim is to give those young people proper public recognition for their effort, discipline, commitment and achievement.
Mayfield has always produced strong, determined and talented young people. Very often, they do their work quietly in clubs, gyms, halls, pitches and training spaces without getting the wider recognition they deserve. These awards are about changing that.
We want to celebrate them properly.
Mayfield Sports Complex is asking local businesses to support this event through sponsorship, donations, vouchers, prizes, services, or any practical contribution that would help us honour these young people in a meaningful way. Your support would help us cover awards, event costs, promotion, refreshments, and the overall running of the awards.
In return, we would be very happy to acknowledge supporting businesses through our social media, event promotion, printed materials where possible, and on the day of the awards itself.
This is a chance for local businesses to stand behind young people from the area and show them that their community sees them, values them, and is proud of them.
If you would like to support the Mayfield Sports Complex Teen Sports Awards 2026, or if you would like to discuss what might be possible, please contact me directly at:

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request. Any support, large or small, would be greatly appreciated and would go directly towards recognising young people who are doing Mayfield proud.
Kind regards,

Mayfield Sports Complex is proud to announce a new award initiative recognising teenagers from Mayfield who have achieved success in sport during 2025 and 2026.
Mayfield has always punched above its weight in terms of sports.
This is about honouring young people's effort, commitment, and representing club, family, and community with pride.
Across Mayfield, young people are training in all kinds of sports. GAA, soccer, boxing, hurling, basketball, swimming, martial arts, athletics, and many more. Some are competing at a high level. Some are pushing themselves through difficult moments in their lives. Some are showing leadership, discipline, courage, and the kind of character that deserves to be recognised.
We want to shine a light on these young heroes who achieve far beyond expectation.
Any Mayfield teenager who has achieved success in sport can be nominated for this award. As part of that recognition, Mayfield Sports Complex will offer free teen gym membership to support their continued development.
A young person who gives their time, energy, and heart to sport is already learning lessons that reach far beyond the game. They are learning discipline and resilience. They are learning how to win with humility and lose without falling apart, and how to stand proud.
Mayfield Sports Complex has always belonged to the people of Mayfield. This award is one way of standing behind our young athletes and saying clearly: we see your effort, we value your achievement, and we want to help you keep going.
Nominations for awards should be sent to:
