Equipeople

Here at Equipeople we are big into animal welfare and we can't emphasise enough how important it is to get your cats neutered. Female cats can have up to 20 kittens a year and can get pregnant as young as 4 months old. Those kittens then have their own kittens creating hundreds of unwanted and uncared for kittens. Animal charities are up to their ears with unwanted kittens at the moment and here at the Equipeople office we are fostering three of them for Offaly SPCA. Please make sure your cats both male and female are neutered

Our Study Tours from 4-H Canada and Challenging Pioneers have gone home but Penn State are still here for another few days. We are in Kerry at the moment enjoying our beautiful countryside. Before Kerry we were in Limerick and had fun at the Bunratty Medieval Banquet and sheep dog demonstration.

Our Penn State University group spent the morning at the Game of Thrones Studio Tour.

We are well into Study Tour season and Donna is looking after a lovely group of families from Challenging Pioneers in Canada. They are from Newfoundland and they will be in Ireland for a week.

A big welcome to 4H from Canada!
Linda is looking after the 4H study tour. They arrived yesterday and spent the day visiting Dublin, today they are at the Balmoral Show in Northern Ireland. They have a packed weekend ahead of them including a visit to the Rock of Dunamaise and a cattle mart, they will be learning the great Irish sport of Hurling, and visiting 2 dairy farms.

Our study tour with Penn State is still in Northern Ireland and today we are off to Balmoral Show. Yesterday we visited an equine rehabilitation centre and an event yard.

Caroline is out on the road with some lovely students from Penn State University on a study tour. Yesterday was the first day of a two week tour visiting lots of yards and seeing plenty of our beautiful country.

Caroline, Stan, Linda and Donna are in Iceland for a conference. It is such a beautiful country, we are all blown away by how amazing it is.
