I would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff who have contributed much to the shop’s success during the past 16 years in particular the current team which includes our longest member of staff - Kinga who has been with us from the beginning,
Likewise, to all the customers who have supported us over the past 16 years, where many a conversation was shared and friendships created, it was your loyalty that helped us grow and continue for 16 years,

I took over a vandalised, derelict closed shop in 2009 which had laid in this condition for several years. This was an eyesore and a burden to the local community, causing very negative media coverage and no doubt devaluing the surrounding properties in already tough economic period after the crash.
Never less, during these tough economic times and during an unpredicted recession we as a family decided to proceed with the redevelopment of the shop, which was opened in 2010 much to the relief of the local community.
In addition, we introduced Pizza Hut, and a full off licence - despite opposition and reservations, which proved otherwise.

I would also like to thank all the suppliers, and the many people involved with supplies and other services.

The shop will remain as is - with no doubt, more offerings from Iris & Kerian Cuddihy & family. Iris & Kerian bring a vast wealth of experience operating other Daybreak outlets together with a cash and carry. I wish them every success which I'm sure no doubt they will be.

Finally, I will miss the many customers and friends I have made over the years and look forward to seeing you in my next venture.
