An update on Lion's Mane mushroom, this mycelium was recovered from an old syringe of liquid culture, we gave it a new home on Agar then selected a nice piece to transfer on to another Agar plate (pictured) and we were hoping for nice Rhizomorphic growth - so this was a great success I think. A piece of this plate will go on to make all of our Lion's Mane mushroom.

Delighted to get Peruvian Ginger for our Fire Tonic, so hard to source these days but its the best one.

Moving tiny bits of Mycelium around in a sterile work flow, focusing on Lion's Mane today, further cleaning up old strains and expanding out onto Liquid Culture... also tweaking the recipe this time to vary peptone concentration and observe colonisation speed for future reference.

Plenty of Fire Tonic going out to shops today, I always feel Fire Tonic should be more popular in the Winter months but here we are in June low on product and having to work a little bit to get the next batch through.

Working in the Lab today, cleaning up a Lion's Mane culture to rejuvinate and expand out onto more agar and liquid culture while we wait for regulatory guidelines on how we structure our production space. My 1st time trying out carbon black Agar and it makes things a lot easier.
