Hi all

I would like to acknowledge the people who made last Saturdays mini-music festival on Main Street possible.

Kevin Meehan who came up with the idea ably assisted by: Paul Mulligan, Dermy Walsh, Malachy and Myles O’Brien, Josh Maples, Niall Walsh, Kevin Callery and Neil Doherty.

There are many others who deserve a mention, the fantastic musicians:

Martin Donohoe, The Dukes, The Painkillers, Josh McClorey, Darragh Slacke, Marcus Magee & The Hallow Men, The Thin Thieves, The Savage Hearts, The Jobseekerz, Kevin Logue, No Vendors and Janice Igoe.

Cavan County Council, Cavan Garda, Brookside Security, Cavan Chamber Of Commerce, Johnny O’Keefe, Local Traders, Lorraine and Eilish, Luso, The Meehan Family, Shane O’Connor and Shane Carroll.

And last but not least all who turned up to witness these wonderful local artists. As I count down my trading days it was a brilliant conclusion to the Multisound story!!

Just to let you know that
MULTISOUND will cease trading at the end of September. Anyone with Gift Vouchers should call in before then. I have a list of people that I would like to acknowledge and thank - so here goes (apologies in advance to anyone I may have forgotten)

Owen McConnon and Brian for coming up with the idea in 1988, also Josephine and Mary for their contributions.

The various people who have worked with me over the last 36 years, especially Anna-Marie Galligan - a kind, witty friend and colleague.

The many people who stood in queues in all weathers to purchase tickets for shows from Garth Brooks to U2 to Cartown. Many a chaotic and funny morning - thanks for your patience.

Everyone who has been a customer from all parts of County Cavan and beyond.

The great people of Cavan Town for their generosity of spirit.

All my fellow traders and neighbours, I wish you continued success and good health.
