Some of the students went to the Cavan Connects Innovation conference in the town hall during the week. Among oher things they got to see the 3D printer in use and get their image scanned.

Today for Prader-Willi Syndrome(PWS) Awareness Day, Jayne gave a very informative talk on PWS. Thank you Jayne and thank you for the lovely healthy food you and your Mother provided for everyone. Even the superheros and cartoon characters went orange in honour of PWS awareness!!

Several of our students are featured in the play "Where Angels Tread" which is going to be performed at the Townhall Arts Centre in Cavan on May 21-22.
We would like to encourage everyone to go along and see this production.
We would also like to wish our students, Mantas, Eoin, Michael, Margaret and Kyle all the best. Good luck and break a leg!

The Adult Learners’ Festival site is now live and registrations are open for Adult Learners’ Festival 2026.
Taking place 2nd – 6th March, this year’s theme is 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, celebrating the role of adult and community education in supporting lifelong learning and stronger communities across Ireland.
Groups planning to host an event are encouraged to register early:

📦 The first 80 registrations will also receive an Adult Learners’ Festival Resource Pack
