Join us for their FREE 2‑hour coding & craft workshop for families.

Who is it for? Primary-age children (8–12 recommended, but younger siblings welcome) with their parent.



Please note: this is not a drop‑off activity—grown‑ups participate too!

-A relaxed, beginner‑friendly workshop—no experience needed!

Who's coming?

🚲 High Nellys Rolling Through Virginia Tomorrow! 🚲

The Breffni High Nelly Run takes place tomorrow, Saturday 30th May, and the riders are expected to be at The Square in Virginia between 12:00pm and 12:30pm.

If you've never seen a High Nelly bicycle up close, this is a great chance to catch a glimpse of these wonderful vintage bikes and the riders dressed in traditional attire 🎩🚴‍♂️

The 29km charity spin starts from the Ramor Inn, Munterconnaught, before travelling through Virginia and Ballyjamesduff on its way to Oldcastle.

Funds raised will support:
💛 Munterconnaught Heritage Society
💛 Knocktemple NS Cairde Playground
💛 Castlerahan National School
💛 Oldcastle Alzheimers Society

Join the RINKA Team – Assistant Role
Love working with kids? Full of energy? Looking for a fun, paid role that actually makes a difference?
We’re looking for RINKA Assistants to help bring our classes to life. This is a hands-on, active role where no two days are the same — one minute you’re setting up games, the next you’re cheering kids on, joining in activities, and helping create a positive, high-energy environment.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to:
• Gain experience working with children
• Build confidence, communication and leadership skills
• Be part of a supportive and fun team
And importantly — this is a paid position, not voluntary.
For the right person, there is also a clear pathway to progress into a Lead Instructor role, with more responsibility, training, and opportunities within RINKA.
If you’re reliable, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with children, this could be a really great fit.
