What an emotional day yesterday was, as we closed the doors of our beloved shop on Burrin Road for the very last time.

For the past 22 years, Burrin Road has been more than just a place of work — it has truly been our second home. Over those years, our little shop became the heart of something very special. We were surrounded by a wonderful community: loyal customers, kind neighbours, and friends who became family. Our children grew up here, alongside the staff who’ve been such a huge part of our lives. We’ve shared laughter, milestones, challenges😉. Some joined us briefly, others came back time and again, and many stayed with us for years…all leaving their mark on our journey.

While there are far too many people to thank individually! We’ve been lucky to have the most incredible customers, suppliers, neighbours and friends. The support we’ve received over the years, in big ways and small, has meant the world to us.

Thank you for every visit, every chat, every kind word, and for all the lovely cards, gifts and good wishes over the past few weeks. We’ve been truly touched ❤️

Wishing P.J. Hickson and the team all the very best as they take the reins. We’re excited to see what the future holds for the shop.
