Athy Golf Club

Congratulations to the Junior Boys team in the Golf Ireland Inter club competition which they won after beating 27 teams from all over Leinster.
They will go on to represent Athy in the All Ireland Final in Moate on 17 /18th August.
The team is: Will Clancy, Cian Maher, Stephen Byrne, Lorcan Cooper (Junior Captain), Dylan Curtis. Sub: Martin Rigney (Not in photo).

Weekly: We had a great turnout despite the heavy showers and great to see the course in such wonderful condition, Great also to see the birthday boy Ken winning.

Gross & Ladies:
Cathal Dunne is making inroads on Kealan's lead, while Fiona Kenny extends her lead.

Overall:
A quiet week for our two leaders as Pat Doyle, John Leslie & Kevin Coyle give chase.

We now have a break for our Open Week and we will resume action on June 23rd

Over the last few weeks, our teams have put in some fantastic performances across a number of competitions.

The Barton Cup opened their campaign with a win over Rathsallagh, the Junior Cup defeated Palmerstown House Estate Golf Club, the Naas Trophy side were successful in the first of two qualifying rounds against Kilkenny, and the Ladies’ Intermediate Foursomes edged out Royal Curragh on the 19th hole.

Hard luck to the ReviveActive Fourball team against Rathsallagh and the Mixed Foursomes side against Newbridge Golf Club.
