The search continues at Lough Ennell, and once again we are asking for assistance from anyone with suitable equipment and experience who may be able to help.

We would particularly like to hear from:

🛩️ Experienced Drone Operators
Especially operators with suitable aircraft, additional batteries and experience operating over water.

🚤 Boat Owners & Experienced Boaters
Particularly those familiar with Lough Ennell or experienced in operating safely on inland waterways.

🛶 Experienced Kayakers
Those comfortable operating on open water and able to assist with designated search areas.

📡 Sonar Operators
Anyone with access to suitable sonar/fish-finder equipment and experience interpreting sonar imagery.

🌊 Underwater Drone / ROV Operators
Anyone with underwater camera systems, remotely operated vehicles or similar equipment.

🥾 Shoreline & Bank Searchers
People physically able to assist with organised searches of designated shoreline areas.

This is particularly important for aviation and water safety and ensures search areas are covered systematically without unnecessary duplication.

🚨 APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE – LOUGH ENNELL SEARCH 🚨

As the search at Lough Ennell continues tomorrow, Search & Rescue are once again asking for assistance from experienced operators and members of the community who may be able to help.

The photographs from today's search show only some of the enormous effort already underway across the lake, its shoreline and beneath the water.

We would particularly like to hear from:

🛩️ Experienced Drone Operators
Operators with suitable aircraft and experience who can assist with coordinated aerial searches of the lake, shoreline and reed areas.

🚤 Boat Owners & Experienced Boaters
Those familiar with Lough Ennell or experienced in safely operating on inland waterways who may be able to assist the organised search.

🛶 Experienced Kayakers
Particularly those capable of safely examining shallower water, shoreline areas and locations difficult for larger craft to access.

📡 Sonar Operators
Anyone with appropriate sonar equipment and genuine experience interpreting sonar imagery who may be able to complement the extensive underwater searching already taking place.

🌊 Underwater Drone / ROV Operators
Experienced operators with underwater cameras, ROVs or other appropriate equipment who may be able to assist in examining areas and potential targets beneath the surface.

🥾 Shoreline & Bank Searchers
There are also extensive stretches of shoreline, reeds and banks requiring careful observation. Anyone wishing to help on foot should join the coordinated search effort and should not enter hazardous shoreline, water or reed areas alone.

⚠️ PLEASE COORDINATE BEFORE DEPLOYING

This is an active and coordinated search operation, with boats, drones and other aircraft potentially operating in the area.

Please do not simply arrive and launch a drone, boat or other equipment independently. Anyone offering specialist assistance should first make contact with the search organisers so that resources can be deployed safely and effectively Contact Andrea 086 - 128 2701, or DM you're number to this page and we will add you to the Search & Rescue group.

CAN'T ATTEND? YOU CAN STILL HELP,

Please share this appeal.

Someone who sees your share may have a boat sitting nearby. They may operate sonar or an underwater ROV. They may be an experienced drone pilot or kayaker. They may know these shores intimately. Or they may simply be able to give their time to help search the banks.

An extraordinary amount of work is already being carried out by everyone involved.
