No previous sewing experience is required.

You will learn how to hem trousers and jeans, shorten dresses and skirts, replace zippers, adjust garments to fit, and repair seams.
Lessons are hands-on and taught in small groups, with individual guidance.
You are welcome to bring your own garments and leave with real finished results.

The course starts on 19 April 2026.
Duration: 5 weeks (10 lessons).

Sew To Go in Athlone is opening a 5-week practical sewing course focused on alterations, tailoring, repairs, and decorative design.

A little bit about me:
35 years of professional experience and 5 years running a successful alterations business in Athlone, you will be learning real techniques from me, that are used on women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing every single day.

• Twice per week (2 hours each lesson)
• Small group: Maximum 4 people
