Go raibh maith agat to everyone who has checked on us. We had 186kmh winds from storm eowyn at our house and are still without power, water and cell service. We are physically fine and despite damage we are able to stay in our home and so we are luckier than some of our neighbours.

Please check on elderly and disabled people, we have been left completely in freefall by the HSE, gardaí and ESB - I know people on oxygen and medical devices who are reliant upon family members frantically trying to buy and run generators around Conamara.

REN IS HOME!!!

A million, billion thank yous to everyone who donated, shared and messaged me. Our little bean is home now and scheduled for surgery in a week's time.

Unfortunately for her she is not allowed any treats until after the surgery so anyone who knows nugget knows she is going to vocally protest this development.

She wouldn't be with us if we didn't get help and I'm so grateful to have her back and snuggled on the couch.

She's not better yet but the acute phase has hopefully passed.

I'm still raising funds on gofundme because she's going to have to have surgery.

update! Ren's seizures have stopped for the moment and I am beyond grateful for the support. The donations have kept Ren with us and she is set to be released.

She still has to have surgery to remove bladder stones. These were two she passed while on a drip. They are feckin huge.

We will have her back in the house soon and then have surgery next week once she's stabilised enough. They said it was too risky doing the surgery right now.

Update: with your help we got the imaging done last night and medications. They were able to find an underlying issue that wouldn't have been possible without that scan. Without the meds she would be gone. Thank you and I'll hopefully have time to do a bigger update for everyone.

Please help us pay for the surgery for Ren. She is not out of the woods yet and HAS to have surgery very soon.
