A couple weeks ago a family from NL came to our batik workshop for making these hand made batik T-Shirt. It was their request to make batik work on t-shirt. Well done guys! And you all look good on them... have a great and amazing trip in Indonesia ,,,

Claudia tried a new technique by using brush in applying Napthol. This way is uncommon since Batik artists dip the cloth into the dye. Here she put the salt mixture with brush and apply the napthol mixture after that. The brush technique on Napthol gave shabby look on her Batik work. Well done!! btw she lived in Jakarta for one year in about 20 years ago. She admitted that she didn't have chance to learn how to make batik while living in Jkt years ago. So here qe go she happened to experience it once in our batik workshop.

I think art and craft is her passion since she loves hand paintings and do some pottery. She did the silver making workshop just a day before she had batik workshop. Sandra is a Canadian who came to Yogyakarta to do some workshop. She said "Batik making in deed takes time yet it is an experimental experience that stimulate us to think and research to get the write formula for its coloring."
