Minahasa Highland One Day Tour

Duration: 10 hours - Location: Minahasa Highland
The word Minahasa is derived from the words Mina and Esa; Mina means "to become" while Esa means "One", so Minahasa means "to become one, united".
In this tour, you will be taken to many interesting places in Tomohon and Tondano City.
Situated up on highland, Tomohon, known as the "City of Flowers", is the perfect place for those of you who seek the beauty of nature and a peaceful ambience.

Tondano, on the other hand, is the place where you can find the largest rice fields in North Sulawesi.

Here you will see the famous Tondano Lake. It is located 600 meters above sea level and covers an area of 4,278 hectares (or about 10,571 acres). This lake is situated by the village of Remboken, around 3 kilometers from Tomohon city and around 30 km from Manado.

This tour will be your adventure-filled day tour visiting some of the most beautiful places in Tomohon and Tondano. First, you will enjoy the view of Manado City at an altitude of 500M at Tinoor, then continue to Tomohon, the City of Flowers.
In Tomohon, you will visit the Pagoda Ekayana. Here we will stop a while and enjoy the beautiful Pagoda and its surroundings. If you are lucky, you will see the Lokon Mountain very clearly with the bright sky as the background.
After that, we will continue to Tondano Lake for lunch, passing Woloan Village.
After lunch. your tour will bring you to "Bukit Kasih" Hill of Love, where you may go up to the hill and see the five symbols of religion in Indonesia. Down the hill, you may have time to relax and enjoy a foot massage by the local children.
From the Hill, we continue to Linow Lake passing the Kawangkoan Village. Here you may enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and some local snacks with the beautiful view of Linow Lake.
This day trip will let visitors experience the natural wonders of Minahasa land.
