GET TO KNOW : Yuki Kikuchi 🇯🇵

A journalist who documents the current real cultural scene with photos and writings, focusing on the music scene in Japan and abroad.

His new zine “LOSS ANGELS” is a record of the reasons for his fascination with Los Angeles, a city he has visited frequently. Heshot the cover for Mac DeMarco’s album 『Another Demo One』. He closely follows and photographs not only their lives but also their tours, focusing on foreign bands, for example, MacDeMarco, The Garden, Frankie Cosmos, DIIV etc.

Capturing everyday life is essentially a documentary of the mundane and ordinary, finding beauty and significance in the routine moments of life. Photography often involves observing and recording the details of daily existence, showcasing the authenticity and humanity in the ordinary. Capture people in their natural state, unposed and unscripted.

One of the first things you'll notice about Jordi's black and white photos is the level of depth and contrast they possess. His compositions are carefully crafted, capturing a wide range of tones from rich blacks to subtle grays and crisp whites. This attention to detail creates a visually striking image that draws you in and holds your gaze 📸🎞️

We went back to the first day of research and came up with some ideas for our labyrinth, based on the information we had collected We started sketching the paths and the layout of the labyrinth, discussed and debated each idea until we had a final design. Finally, we constructed the labyrinth 🎞 🎞
