It's my several attempt to playing low-key strobist. And I know how I love off-camera flash. There's so much possibility there.

Strobist Info:

- Speedlite with Softbox diffuser on one side, and bare Speedlite with red color gel on the other side.

- Shot on friend's apartment with distance to background (dark red curtain) estimated 1-2 meters.

- Retouch with Lightroom and Photoshop to add debrish and darken the background.

- Shot with Canon Kiss X4 (550D) and 18-55mm Lens. (Need the wide lens for the small space)

- Apperture f/20 (Need all focus with wide D.O.F)

- Exposure 1/200 sec. and ISO 100

- Speedlite is Yongnuo 560 and triggered with PT-04NE

PrOne Studio 2012

Shooting a baby is harder than it seems, but we really enjoyed it because it last with so much fun.

Our main star today, Noey, being exhausted to pose in front of camera, and that because we bothering his baby-sleepy-time-after-take-a-bath.

In the end we satisfy with the result of photoshoot, and really thanks the generous family, Mala, Bayu, Wei, Om, and Tante, (we even treated with chicken satay before going home! :D)

If these photos makes you want to have a baby sooner that mean we've did a good job :)

People says, you only 17 years old once, but I think everyday is only happened once. So do today, when Noey is 6 months old, growing up to be a man the family can proud of.

We really look forward to see him grown up :)

First time we told about this project, we really doesn't know what Mitoni is. It's one of Javanese coulture, it's a shame I didn't know about it eventough I'm a pure Javanese X_X.

So Mitoni is a one of Javanese ceremony of 7th months of pregnancy. There's so many new thing I see in this ceremony. One of I most interested moment is when the soon-mother-to-be, in this time, Maria, have to change clothes 7 times, with different color, in every changed clothes the MC must ask the audience, "Is the cloth fit her?" and the audience has to answer, "No...!". Many laughter happens in the location :D. It replay for 6 times, untill the Final clothes worn. And the audience finall answers "Yes, the cloth is fit so perfectly, it's really good!" It was really fun :D After we've done this project I realized that so many things I don't really know abot my own culture. And I know I'm not alone. Time has changed generation. It gives me an idea to make educational video about Indonesia rich culture that educating and polished with video art.
